Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

2018 marks the 15th anniversary since my mam, Janice Colling (later Duncan, Younger), lost her brave fight with Ovarian Cancer.  As not only a parent but also a grandparent, daughter, sister, wife, aunty, cousin, niece, friend, she has been sorely missed by all for each and everyone of those 15 years.

My boys (Joshua and Harry) never got the chance to cuddle/speak/laugh/cry with their Grandma Jan as I did growing up, but hopefully with education and fundraising other families won't have to miss out on these precious moments. Early diagnosis is key, so please, if you do nothing else today, read these links and spread the message.  If you do wish to donate, follow the instructions, and thank you once again.

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
