Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This will be my 4th consecutive London Marathon having run the last three for RP Fighting Blindness and last year with my son Chris .I will be running this years race as a guide to my son Chris who has a condition called Bardet Beidel which has a number of significant problems the most far reaching being the poor vision and potential full loss of sight.
Chris is partially sighted due to this genetic condition as has no night vision and reduced peripheral vision has sable central vision but cant read below size 36 and struggles in dim and glared lights. due to this me and dad run as a tethered guide.
Chris has had to overcome so many obstacles to his development and education but it has become clear that sport has become a massive benefit to him through cycling, running and athletics. This can only be done through the help and support of British Blind Sport in their dedicated assistance, practical guidance and moral support allowing people with visual impairment to flourish, compete and challenge for success .
Any support will be greatly appreciated !!
