We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hello

Well here i go again this time a way to beat the big C and i don't mean credit crunch.

This time the Abingdon marathon October the 19th and the only one in Oxfordshire only 26.2 miles or to run from Bicester to Abingdon .

This year i am hoping to beat 3 hours 30 so the more money you donate the faster i'll go hopefully

Every one knows someone who has or has had cancer, donations are much needed to help research and produce life saving drugs and help conquer cancer .

Here are a few statistics:

  • Over 100,000 people recover from cancer or are successfully treated each year
  • Cancer mortality rates have dropped by 11 per cent over the last 10 years.
  • 95% of men with testicular cancer are now successfully treated – 25 years ago their survival chances were slim
  • 70% of children diagnosed with cancer now survive 5 years or more – 50 years ago most would have died.
  • Breast cancer death rates have fallen by 21 per cent in the last 10 years.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So pleeeease sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support
.
