Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My name is Nick Robinson and on April 26th I ran the Flora London Marathon (my first!) to raise funds for the Leeds branch of the MS Society. So far we have raised over £2,000 but there is still time to show your support. It was an amazing day and I was really pleased with my time of 3 hours 17 minutes and 48 seconds.
You can sponsor me through Justgiving whcih is quick, easy and totally secure. If you’re a UK taxpayer, make sure you fill in the Gift Aid details so the taxman can give an extra 25%, plus a 3% supplement, to your donation. If you would prefer to donate in person, you can get in touch with me or one of my family members who will have good old fashioned sponsorship forms!
The reason I ran the marathon was because my brother Ben was diagnosed with MS nearly six years ago now and has shown great strength and courage in dealing with the variety of unpredictable and debilitating symptoms that affect MS sufferers on a daily basis.
The Leeds MS Society do fantastic work running valuable programmes and providing support to help improve the lives of those affected by MS in the Leeds area.
I have kept an online training diary at http://nicksmarathondiary.blogspot.com/ if you want to read more about my experience.
