Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2013 I had a kidney transplant. After my transplant I was invited to attend the Kent Kidney Patients Association group. I was also asked to speak in a professional patient capacity about how my transplant had affected my life, what it was like for me and how it made me feel. This gave patients awaiting or contemplating transplant procedures advice from a patient's perspective.
This year to support KKPA I am taking on a virtual cycle challenge. I aim to raise money to help the association with their support groups, events, caravan holidays, food parcels and many other essential services they provide.
In the past I have successfully completed the London to Brighton bike ride but due to the Covid-19 pandemic I am unable to cycle outside due to shielding. Therefore, I am taking on this challenge on my Peloton bike and virtually cycling approximately 278 miles!
Your donation no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated by KKPA and thanks for reading my story.
