As many of you may know I volunteer for Destination Florida, a children’s charity based in the North West of England.

 

Every two years we take 75 children, between the ages of seven to fifteen who have missed out on the fun and laughter of childhood due to illness to Florida for a trip of a lifetime. The trip provides the children with a holiday that they could have never imagined, while giving their parents a well deserved week of rest at home.

 

 

Having volunteered for the charity for a while now, I have witnessed the great impact a trip like this can have on not only the children but also their families, and it can often provide them with a week in their life where they don’t have to think about their illnesses.

 

Any donation that you make, no matter how big or small will help towards the cost of taking 75 children to Florida and making their dreams come true.
