Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Royal Parks half marathon in October to continue my family's fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK. We are so grateful for all the donations that people have made to the charity since my dad, Phil Sawyer, passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in 2011 and together we have raised almost £25,000 for the charity. Please only donate what you can as I realise that this is the second just giving campaign that I've run this year. I'm also looking to arrange a charity event, if people have got any ideas?
Below is some information on what your donations contribute to for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
·
£55 could give support to one patient, family member or carer
who has been affected by pancreatic cancer through our information and support
services.
· £100 could pay for a day’s worth of research
into new treatments, better ways of giving existing treatment or controlling
treatment side effects.
· £750 could pay for the production
of a new information leaflet, allowing us to reach even more people diagnosed
with pancreatic cancer.
