Story

2 years ago I looked at this event and thought "you know what I could probably do that". I hadn`t actually done any running in 20 years. But I did it . And in a strange masochistic way it was actually quite fun. So I ended up signing up again (and for a half marathon..yeah you know who you are who pushed me into that)!. So what is the issue? well Until last sunday I`d run a grand total of twice this year. With 2 months to go. I hate running ;) So need motivation. Last year at about the 7 mile mark I realised how much money I`d earned for charity per mile. I may not beat  my time last year (probably own`t in fact!), I may not beat my total fundraising last year - as a lot of people were very generous. But sod it...every penny helps. Lets do this. Lets beat cancer.

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Most of us have relatives who have. It would be nice in a few years time for it to be a disease that "used" to happen. I think it can be done. Lets do it.
