Story
Giles lived with great strength, courage and humour during his 25 years of living with a diagnosis of metastatic pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour. His remarkable resilience and the joy he had for life meant that most people would never have known the extent to which he fought to overcome the difficulties he faced. He was grateful for every moment and with each birthday came a profound sense of achievement and gratitude. His wife, family, and friends meant the world to him, and he was never happier than when he was able to share their company at home on the farm he loved, on the cricket pitch, or watching Arsenal.
In the last few months of his life, Dorothy House provided the most outstanding care and support, for which Giles, his wife Fiona, and their family, felt immense gratitude. Please make any donation you can so that Dorothy House can continue to provide support for individuals and their families totally free of any charge.
