I'm riding on behalf of my local church All Saints in Milton Keynes Village.

I have recently seen how complicated and expensive it is to maintain a historic church. Bucks Historic Churches Trust provided £4000 this year to help repair my local church so I would like to say thank you by joining in this fundraising event so they can help other churches too.

I’ve been involved with Ride + Stride off and on for many years welcoming and providing refreshments for the walkers, cyclists and even horse riders at various churches. I’m excited because for the first time I’ll be one of the cyclists! 

I’m planning to cycle a route that visits at least 7 of the 25+ participating churches in Milton Keynes with the hope that, if the cycling goes well, I’ll be able to visit more ... and this is my personal challenge. 

Knowing that I’m being sponsored to do this ride will encourage and motivate me - and add impetus when the going gets tough!
