Story

I've been lucky to have competed in many of the most notorious races around the world including Sydney-Hobart, Rolex Fastnet, Middle Sea, Round Ireland and RORC Caribbean 600.  This year, my co-skipper Cal and I will compete double-handed in the RORC Sevenstar Round Britain & Ireland, an1800 mile non-stop race regarded as one of the most challenging in the world.  I want to use this opportunity to fund-raise for a charity I truly believe in, the The Andrew Simpson Foundation.  I hope you will find it in your heart to support Cal & I in our endeavours to provide support for this great foundation.

The Andrew Simpson Foundation was inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson MBE. Our mission is to transform lives through sailing. Absolutely everything we do is driven by our belief that all young people have the ability to excel and succeed in life and work. We believe that the challenges of sailing and watersports do this by promoting health and well-being whilst also building essential life skills. These skills then enable young people to progress through education and into work.
