We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Hello - thanks for visiting my page. I am running the London Marathon 2021 to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research.  They are the leading UK dementia and Alzheimer’s disease research charity.

I’m running for them because my Mum, Janet's Mum, my Aunt Kitty and other family members have all suffered from dementia and unfortunately a great many of us may face this in the future. Through Just Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Alzheimer’s Research.

I am not running as a rhinoceros, deep sea diver or any other character – for an old man it’s hard enough as it is - just look out for me (ha ha) in a white cap and my AR shirt.

I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
