At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Update: Hello and thank you one and all for the donations..

On 30th October 2011 we made it running as part of the Alzheimer's Society team in the Great South Run (the equivalent to the more well known Great North Run), a 10 mile run in Portsmouth. It was a brilliant day, 24,000 of us and 1 in 17 of those running for the Society, who's HQ staff we on hand at the end in the tent with words of support and refreshments. Check out what comedian Hugh Dennis had to say, and see if you can spot us both talking to camera (well one of us!) thttp://www.alzheimers.org.uk/greatrun

We will be back raising funds again in 2012
