Story
On January 6th 2015 my younger sister sadly lost her best friend.
Hatti Sandall was a huge personality amongst her friends and is sorely missed by all who knew her. In her memory my sister Bianca and a few other friends set-up, and now run, Smile From Hatti - a charity supporting young people with cancer.
Hatti's battle against the rare Spindle Cell Sarcoma was an inspiration to watch - as was her friends and family's constant resilience and positivity in the face of such adversity.
Ive always enjoyed supporting the events that SFH organise, from their netball tournaments (not just for girls it turns out) to their summer sports days (egg and spoon races aren't just for kids it also turns out). Both my sisters have always been at the forefront of these events and I couldn't be prouder of their hard work.
Now I'm lacing up my trainers and taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to further support and raise money for this wonderful charity.
If you know me personally, then you know this story and probably know my sister Bianca, so hopefully will take little convincing to donate to this wonderful charity.
If you happen to be a fan of Midsomer Murders, or any other work you may know me from, then please show your support, it is hugely appreciated. This is a charity and cause that is very dear to my heart and a little donation can go a long way.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Do come an support on the day! Sunday October 13th.
Much love and thanks
