Myself and a number of colleagues at Northern Rock are taking part in the Great Escape Challenge to raise money in aid of Marie Curie, for more details of what we will be doing please see - http://www.greatescapechallenge.com/

As you can see this is no normal event and it requires me to run over 10K and cycle over 35k.  I am training 6 nights a week, limited my beer intake, dieting and generally becoming a shadow of my former self.  I still have dodgy knees and will probably still be the heaviest person competing.  So If I can do all this then the least you can do is pull out your plastic and give some money to this great cause.
