I am running the 13.1 miles of the Great North Run on the 16th September 2012 from Newcastle to South Shields to raise money for The Christie Cancer Hospital in Manchester. This hospital is really important to me as it is the hospital that looked after my Dad when he had lymphoma and thankfully helped him to make a full recovery. The doctors and nurses there were fantastic and made a very tough time a little more bearable.

So any donations you can spare is going to a really good cause.
