In January of this year my stepdaughter Amy was killed in a road accident. This was a tragic loss of a wonderful young woman who had such a caring heart and worked hard all her life to help other people.

She was 3 months away from completing a degree in Social Work, which has now been awarded posthumously, after which she planned a career helping disadvantaged & disabled children and adults with addiction issues.

This is why I am walking to raise money for Parasol, a small Oxford based charity that works hard to help disabled & disadvantaged children in the area. I am doing this in Amy's memory as I know she was passionate about such causes.
