Story

Thank you so much for visiting my page. My name is Nick Boyle and I am a Sales Director at Jewson Civil Frazer.

From Monday the 13th of July until Friday the 17th of July I will be playing 26 rounds of Golf over the 5 days at Kingsfield Golf Centre in aid of The Beatson Cancer Charity. Day one will consist of 6 rounds and then I will play 5 rounds a day after that, a staggering 468 holes which will be roughly 63,360 steps around 30 miles per day. Carrying  my own bag for most of the way, though I’m hoping for the occasional visitor to pop in and maybe carry it for a few holes while keeping my spirits up. The Arkley family who own and run Kingsfield have been fantastic in facilitating my needs for the challenge and I can’t thank them enough and also close contact and member of Kingsfield Major James Howe who is kindly helping me to set up my base camp ( oh I forgot to mention I’m camping at the course as well ) and for his help in preparing me for this gruelling challenge. I’ve also enlisted the help of ex sporting celebrities to endorse my challenge and I’ve lined up Talksport and BBC Radio Scotland for interviews and promotion so I can receive maximum exposure in the hope of hitting and hopefully smashing through my £3000 target!

Anyway I’ve took up enough of your time just now but I’m aiming to have a Facebook page set up soon so you can all follow the build up to the challenge and my progress across the 5 days.

Thanks Nick
