As you probably know this is my first marathon. 

Its going to be a struggle but I will finish. The last couple of months training has been all about trying to stay upright on the ice.

Why the air ambulance?

Its simple really, you just never know when you may need them, and it costs an incredible amount just to keep it running.1.7 million a year.

They fly an average of 2-3 missions a day, saving hundreds of lives a year, ensuring that patients receive the proper medical care within the ' Golden Hour '.

Whatever you can give in these tough times would be much appreciated.
