Having spent so much time on the river bank watching my children row over the last four years the opportunity came up to join them through the KGS Veterans Learn to Row course. The vets have been great, patient and tolerant over the summer! And now I am heading off on my first rowing adventure with the Sponsored Row. To date I have only rowed to Teddington Lock and back so this is a whole new experience. Equipped with many blister plasters I shall be setting off from Henley soon after 6am on Saturday 10th September and hope to arrive back at the boathouse before dark!
