Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be taking part in the group sky dive I am organising on 2nd May 2014. I have chosen this date as it would have been my good friend Luke Boyer's 28th birthday and instead of sitting around feeling sorry for myself I would like to be doing something fun and something for a good cause - as he would have wanted me to. 

A little about Luke and why I specifically chose Young Minds.

Luke committed suicide on 6th August this year, extremely unexpectedly. There are millions of questions that we don't have the answers to, but as a family we have concluded that the reason that he chose to end his life was largely due to the fact both of his parents had died by the time he was 19 and he never really got over this. 

Even though we were all very close, I feel if Luke had addressed some of the issues in his life whilst he was younger it may not have led to him ending his life. 

This is why I have chosen Young Minds.
