Our little boy Alfie,  was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 3 years old. 

Alfie relies on insulin 24/7 to stay alive ! He has a pump to deliver his daily insulin and a sensor to check his blood sugars as well as having to check his bloods by pricking his finger. Alfie is an energetic, football loving little boy. We all hope for a cure for Type 1 diabetes in the future and JDRF are working hard to achieve this.
