Day 10 now and getting itchy and grey! Trying to raise some money and vital awareness. Bowel cancer is 2nd biggest cancer killer but has a high curable success rate if caught early.

I found out that i had stage 3a Bowel Cancer in April 2006 aged 31. After the op to remove the tumour i had 6 mths of chemo followed by a further op 3 months after that to remove a temporary ileostomy. I am now 7 and a bit years down the line and clear. Its something that i i still think about but learn to put it to the back of my mind and i count my blessings everyday that i am still here. 

So i am raising awareness by taking part in Decemberbeard, for the people who are currently still fighting, for the people who sadly have passed on and to make people more aware of it.
