Event: The Big Chill Swim 2014, on 20 July 2014

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The swim raises half the money needed to keep a branch of the Samaritans open for a year and I thought that was worth doing!

About 60 people will start the swim at 5.30 am on 24 July which is from Hurst Castle on the mainland to Colwell Bay on West Wight, near the Needles.  Its a mile and a quarter but there are quite strong currents and tides so it can be a bit more than that!  Luckily for me it is supported by the lifeboat...
