Story
It's done....I've now committed and are determined to run one last half marathon before I turn 50 in the summer!
I met the amazing Darren Couchman at an event where he was literally 'talking bollocks' in a bid to raise awareness of testicular cancer. I was blown away by all the really important, great work that the charity does within the community, in relation to raising awareness of both testicular and ovarian cancer with young people and this is why I've taken the plunge.
Thank you for supporting my Colchester Half-Marathon race and I'm running to raise money for The Robin Cancer Trust!
The Robin Cancer Trust's mission is to save lives - please help me raise £200 to help them deliver life-saving cancer awareness, education and support to young people in the community.
Here's how your donations can help The Robin Cancer Trust save lives: £10 could help us provide 250 'signs & symptoms' cards to be handed out in the community. £25 could help us provide a cancer support pack to a young person going through the hardest time of their life. £50 could allow us to deliver a life-saving cancer awareness talk to a local school, college or university. All donations help make a difference.
Thank you for all your support in helping me raise money for such a fantastic charity!
