As you may already know, not too long ago I had a crazy idea! I decided that I really wanted to take part in a trek across China in order to raise funds for The Children’s Hospital Charity in Sheffield. I then persuaded 21 other mad fools to join me!

The Trek follows the Great Wall of China through woodland and terraced farmland, along the contours of beautiful hills and mountains in remote areas of Beijing. Our group will be on the road for 7 days from the 17th to 23rd September. 

 

Walking the Great Wall of China is something that I have always wanted to do. Since having my 3rd child, the gorgeous Jemima, last May I felt this would be an amazing personal challenge whilst also raising money for a very worthy cause close to my heart.

Sheffield Children’s Hospital constantly needs funding to maintain its reputation as an outstanding centre for the prevention and cure of childhood illnesses.
