On the 13th October 2011, our daughter Niamh(Nocket) passed away after a 12 year battle with a rare heart condition which left a massive gap in our lives which will never be filled. Obviously the whole family was devestated but with a little help from yourselves, we can help other children and their families benefit from the hard work and overwhelming support that Heartlink has to offer, as it did with ourselves. It is an amazing charity but it would not be able to run without the help of people like yourselves. Therefore, I will be running like a rocket for nocket 13.2 miles from Newcastle to South Shields in the biggest half marathon in the world on the 16th of September 2012, and any donation no matter how small will help to change the lives of families who are going through such difficult times as we did.
