Story
We will finally be running the London Marathon next week! After an 18-month delay, I cannot wait to get started - thank you for all of your donations so far. The training is done, it's down to us on the day now!

As a deaf person myself, I've experienced the frustration and insecurity that you can feel when you can't hear what is going on around you.
Perhaps the most difficult challenge to overcome is the loneliness, especially for the thousands of those like myself who are hard of the hearing, but don't live in an exclusively deaf community. Immersing yourself in a social world without people who can empathise with your difficulties can be incredibly isolating. You need a network of people who can help.
I am so fortunate to have that network: my friends and family are always so understanding, supportive and helpful.
This charity is for those who may not have this network, supporting children and adults whose lives are muffled, hushed or silent.
It offers help in every aspect of a deaf person's life, whether it's by delivering counselling sessions, teaching hearing people about things they can do to help, or providing detailed training, constantly keeping up to date with the latest technological advances.
Thank you for any donations you make. It is appreciated so much.
