Story
Last year Nick ran the Manchester 10K and Freya amazingly ran the 2.5K Junior race. It was a truly wonderful occasion and we raised a massive amount of money for RMCH; it was in fact the most money ever raised for them individually in the run. Now that Freya is 16, she can no longer do the Junior event, but has decided to go for the full 10K! Not to be left out, Alison & Georgia have decided to do it too, albeit only committing to a leisurely pace. We are also being joined by other friends and family, so it promises to be a great day.
Freya has major surgery scheduled at RMCH in July which will put her well and truly out of the game for a while, so the run represents an opportunity for us to raise more money for this amazing hospital to whom we owe so much and who help Freya on her long road to recovery on a continual basis.
We don't have any specific targets in terms of how much we are trying to raise; everyone was so amazing last year. We are very grateful for anything that people are able to give to this amazing charity.
Thanks for reading and for all of your incredible support. X
