Story

In March last year, my older sister Helen died at the age of 24, after battling cancer for 7 years. I still miss her everyday, and it is because of this that I have decided to do one of the most stupid things I have ever decided to do: run the 2024 London marathon.

In the summer of 2021 Helen was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and it was during that diagnosis period where I promised to her that I would run a marathon if she really was diabetic (not my smartest move).

I have decided to run the marathon for Teenage Cancer Trust. I’ve fundraised for them before and they really do provide brilliant services and support for teenagers and young people who are receiving treatment for cancer. I really would appreciate any donation, no matter how big or small they all get me closer to my fundraising goal. Thank you all and God bless you!x
