Myself and my daughter Jody, are doing a half marathon to raise funds for HRUK in memory of Carl, who sadly passed away last year. 

Carl had a heart of gold and was hugely popular and loved by many.  He became aware he had heart disease after his first heart attack, followed by surgery.  Unfortunately, he suffered another,  and we lost a man with the biggest kindest heart, who had patience and willingness to help anyone and everyone 

I want to help in raising funds to reduce the number of people developing and dying from heart disease, while improving and extending the lives of those affected. Heart disease is a silent and deadly disease, but through research and education, issues and signs can be detected early.
