Story
You never hear from me in ages then here I am hassling for money but it's for a good cause honest, and I've (probably) never asked you for money before- well not for charity anyway
I'm running the London Marathon for Dreams Come True, a brilliant charity that relies on personal donations and fund-raising to operate. Dreams Come True is a national charity serving the whole of the UK with the mission of bringing joy to children who are terminally or seriously ill by making their treasured dreams come true. These dreams cost money and I'd love to raise enough money to make a couple happen- check the website out for more information. http://www.dctc.org.uk/
David Walliams (he of swimming the channel fame) said that raising money should hurt. Swollen, throbbing feet are part of my week, I might be fit but I walk like an (unfit) 90 year old after my long run.
The pictures i've posted are of the Chariots of Fire race, this is more my distance 1.8 miles. I ran it one year as they weren't enough able lawyers - where was my husband?! I ran the slowest time so building on this success I entered the marathon. Please give a bit of dosh, it'd really help me as my body weeps through the last few miles.
