Story
Hey guys!
As some of you may know, on Thursday 17th June 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 4b Classical Hodgkins Lymphoma - a rare form of blood cancer. My cancer had become very advanced in the lead up to my diagnosis, the pain rendered me immobile binding me to my bed and the muscositis I developed from the aggressive chemo regime I was recieving meant I was unable to eat or drink. The mass loss of muscle left me unable to walk without assistance and I had a two month stint in hospital.
I have since left hospital and on Thursday 30th September I was given the news I am now in remission. Everyday I am gaining strength but not yet strong enough to return to work and I am yet to get back behind the wheel, so Blood Cancer UK's 26.2 miles over the month of November seemed like the motivation I need to push myself even further while also raising money for a fab charity.
Absolutely any size of donation would mean the world - but if you don't have any change to spare please considering sharing my story on your socials.
Thank you ❤️
p.s. I understand the event says "Jog" but you can bet your a** I will be walking.
