Story

Right, I have bought a pair of second hand walking boots for £20 and being a Yorkshireman I need to get my money's worth!  In pursuit of this I have agreed to climb a big hill in Tanzania with a few friends in a few days time.  I started my training in the foothills of Holderness a few weeks ago and have progressed to completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks last Sunday.  I managed to haul my athletic frame around the three hills in 12 hours and four Cornish pasties!

Thank you for backing this world record breaking attempt of me being the fattest bloke ever to scale Kilimanjaro!  I really appreciate your support and I will get someone to take plenty of wide angled photographs to share with you on my return.

Cheers, Nic
