Story

On the 31st of March 2023, we lost our much loved best friend Bethannie Booth, to Sepsis at the young age of 24. 🩵🤍 As a team throughout July, we will be participating in the 10,000 Steps a Day Challenge to help raise money for such an important cause, to raise more awareness and education around Sepsis.

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
