Story
In July 2025, I’ll be taking on the 26-mile Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike to raise money for people living with cancer. This challenge is especially close to my heart as I'll be doing it in memory of my papa, who passed away from cancer in 2003.
This hike is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and completing 26 miles will be a massive achievement for me. I’ll be working hard to get in shape for the big day, and every step I take will be in honor of him and everyone else who has been affected by this disease.
I’ve pledged to raise £250, which can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for a day. These nurses provide essential medical, practical, and emotional support to people living with cancer and their families. There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and it’s Macmillan’s goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis. But they can’t do this without donations from people like you.
I’d be so grateful for any support you can give to help me reach my goal. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Thank you so much!
