Story
***UPDATE***
Sadly my mother Donella passed away unexpectedly soon on Monday 12 September. I’ll still be running the marathon but will now be fundraising in memoriam. The generosity displayed by each of you in your donations was a source of great happiness to my mother in what would prove to be her final weeks and for that I can only thank you.
You can read a tribute to her life here Remembering Donella Bartlett
—————
In March my mother Donella was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Since then MND Scotland have provided invaluable support to her and my family.
Out of gratitude I'm running the Loch Ness Marathon on Sunday 2nd October to fundraise for MND Scotland. Sponsorship will go towards helping them provide other people affected by MND with the same practical, financial and emotional support we've received.
To get a material sense of the impact your contribution will make you can find a list of MND Scotland services on their website at The Difference Your Support Makes (mndscotland.org.uk)
Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will positively affect the life of someone living with Motor Neurone Disease.
Thank you agus mòran taing!
