Story
Nina, Ellen, Will and I are walking the Starlight Stroll in aid of St Wilfrids on 12th September in memory of Natalie. Jack cannot be with us in person as he is in Vietnam.
St Wilfrids team gave Natalie and the rest of our family such incredible care and support at a time when she needed it most. It was immeasurable.
If we can raise some vital funds to enable the team at St Wilfrids to continue to support more patients and their families in the future, then Natalie's lifetime of being the most warm hearted, caring and generous person continues to help others.
Thank you for your support. With all our love.
St Wilfrid's Hospice's mission is to transform end of life care for the people of Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and all the points in between. Serving a population of 235,000 people covering an area of around 300 square miles, our expert teams work to help people to live well until the end of their lives and to support their family and friends. We provide care in our 20-bed Inpatient Unit, through our Wellbeing service and, increasingly, to families in their own homes. We are a charity that relies on voluntary donations to support over 70% of our vital work. It costs just over £15,000 a day to provide our care and support services across our catchment area. This year, we are aiming to raise over £100,000 at our Starlight Stroll event so we can continue to support our patients and their families in the wake of the effects that Covid-19 has had on our services.
