Hello my name is Nia and I am going to take on the challenge to swim a mile to raise as much money as I can for Alzheimer's Society. This charity means something to me as my Gran suffered at the end of her long life. I used to swim as part of a local swimming club and she was always proud of my achievements so this has helped me to decide to do this event.

This disease affects more people in the UK than we realize and is sad for a family and friends to see their loved ones go through so I would like to have my input to find a cure. This event is going to take place on the 22nd of August 2019.
