We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

My partner Nic was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma (brain tumour) over 18 months ago. He underwent surgery, a combination of radiation and chemotherapy, and lastly, steroids. He was a keen competitive ultra-runner and even after a complication with a biopsy, which left his left side weakened, he still pushed himself out of the door to run. In January, he was forced to hang up his running shoes and was moved to the Haven of Hope hospice, where he was looked after by the wonderful staff there. His spirit was so strong and his fight against cancer continued, defying the odds each and every day. Tragically, after giving the fight of his life, he recently lost his battle with cancer and left this world peacefully. Seeing his resilience in spite of this terrible disease, I wanted to support him and so, I set out to run 4 of the most well-known 100km races in Hong Kong: Oxfam Trailwalker, The North Face 100, HK100 and Translantau 100. These four are all within a month of each other and are collectively known as the Hong Kong Grand Slam. I've completed 3 already and Friday 28th I will be beginning my last and final challenge.

By raising money for the Brain Tumour Charity, I am hoping to help save lives by supporting further research in to Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) and how to help stop them once and for all. Any little or large donation would be incredibly welcome. Thank you!
