Fundraising for Women V Cancer - Cycle Vietnam to Cambodia
Story
In November we are riding from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to Siem Reap in Cambodia.
All of you will appreciate quite how out of character/challenging this will be for us both!
Following the death of two close friends , Ruth Hill and Anna Roberts, in September 2014 from cancer, I decided I wanted to do something positive in their memory to raise funds for charities associated with cancer. I managed to convince Catrin to accompany me (it felt like the distant future at the time!). Since that time five further friends have been diagnosed with and successfully beaten breast cancer.
Now ,just over 4 months before we go, the enormity of the challenge (and training) is becoming very real! We would both really appreciate your support for the three charities for whom we are fundraising each of whom do tremendous work for women suffering from cervical, ovarian and breast cancers. We are funding the cost of the trip ourselves so that all the money raised will go to these very worthy charities:-
