Story
Brave members of staff from across NHS Blood and Transplant are taking on the Blenheim Palace Triathlon on Sunday 3rd June, to raise money for our charity partner Bloodwise.
Every 14 minutes, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer in the UK. Many of those diagnosed will need blood and blood products during their treatment, which can considerably reduce the symptoms of blood cancer and the side effects of treatment. NHSBT nominated Bloodwise as their charity partner in 2016, and our staff are dedicated to raising money to fund life-saving research and support services. We want to raise as much money as possible to achieve our target of £5,000, and to continue to help as many blood cancer patients as possible.
The teams are as follows...
Team 1:
Simon Jennings, Farai Katsande, Jan Majkowski
Team 2:
Jonny Oates, Tracey Wright, Graham Bowditch
Team 3:
Katherine Robinson, Ian Trenholm, Mike Stredder
Team 4:
Paresh Vyas, Andrew Broderick, Mike Stredder
We also have some brave individuals taking on the whole event too:
Anna-Marie Jessno & Andrew Broderick
Please sponsor us as much as you can to help us beat blood cancer sooner!
Thank you,
The NHS Blood & Transplant Tri Team
