Our amazing NHS has been existing for 72 years this year. It’s the greatest service that’s also abused & overburdened on a daily basis ... yet also our most loyal friend. From our first breath until our very last, we can count on the NHS to care for us. A life force is the best term to illustrate truly how significant the service is to each and everyone of our lives. It exists because of its healthcare workers, it’s supporters and everyone else who lives here. 

However, the NHS now needs us more than ever. We are facing a global pandemic and our NHS that was once previously strained is now facing an immense amount of pressure.
Extraordinary times call for extraordinary people and this is why we have taken the time to compose the NHS APPRECIATION JustGiving page, so we can finally show our underpaid, over-criticised heroes just how eternally grateful we are.

We are fundraising to support the health and well-being of all of our remarkable NHS staff in these uncertain times. We are raising funds to support our heroes whilst they are on the front line fighting the COVID-19 crisis. Our NHS staff are putting their lives on the line to save ours, whilst many are falling ill themselves resulting in inability to work. Additionally, some are also in isolation due to their own underlying health conditions, so the remaining NHS staff that are able to work, are working around the clock ensuring they are capable enough to take care of; the people we love, our families, our friends, our nation. Some of our heroes are already working 20 hour shifts and these hours will only increase whilst the crisis worsens. The very least we can do as a nation is to support them and illustrate how much we care.
The funds raised from the JustGiving Page campaign will fund extra facilities to help our NHS BHR Hospitals deal with the increased demand & pressure on services as patient numbers rise. They will also help to assist with the health and well-being of our NHS staff, especially after this nightmare in which many staff will be left with emotional trauma & will have to face their demons daily with professional help such as; counselling. Equipment will also need to be replaced once used to help Covid-19 patients as it will be difficult to sterilise. The funds that will be raised from this JustGiving Page for our NHS BHR Hospitals will help to make an impact on our staff and our hospitals.
