Story
Over Easter I'll be attempting to hitch hike all the way from Sheffield to Krokow in Poland. This epic voyage will see me travel over 1,500 miles and pass through several different countries all in the name of some great charities to help people both in the UK and around the world. These will include:
S.A.L.V.E - A charity which helps to provide couselling and education to orphaned and rejected children living on the streets of Jina in Uganda.
Sheffield User Survival Training (SUST) - A network of mental health trainers helping people in Sheffield and South Yourkshire to overcome difficult issues such as depression and self harm.
Operation Florian - An international organisation providing emergency services equipment and training to communities in underdeveloped countries and those which have been ravaged by war.
Doncaster Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Service - Offering free advice to victims of rape and sexual abuse in the South yorkshire area.
Please give generously as the money you give will go a long way and will help others all around the world. A seemingly small donation will make every bit of difference, and could ultimately save a life.
Making a donation is fast, simple and secure and literally only takes a few clicks. If you're an eligible UK taxpayer then please make sure that add gift aid to your donation. This will mean that the tax man will allow the charity to claim back the income tax that's already been taken from your hard earned cash. Basically, the more you give, the more the of our tax money gets spent on something worthwhile so please dig deep!
