Hadrians Wall , 15 May 2014
We fund specialist equipment to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

John Howells, Stuart Unwin and Robin Farrell, will walk the entire length of Hadrians Wall - a total distance of 85 miles from Bowness on Solway to Walls End in Northumberland.

Just like the Roman Legionnaires of their time, we will carry everything on our backs as we make our five day journey from Thursday 15 May to Tuesday 19 May.

Every penny donated will go straight to Newlife foundation for disabled children who will help families in Central England Co-operative's trading area. No money will be used for any other costs.

As well as raising money for this worthwhile charity, we will also be using this arduous walk to kick-start our Healthy Living lifestyles as part of National Walking Month 2014 in May and the Society's new health and well-being focus.
