Story
On 19th June Anne and I are going to be participating in the, ahem, Tour de Maiden Bradley, to help raise money for Parkinson's UK. A friend of Anne's has Parkinson's; a friend of hers is cycling from London to Paris, arriving there on 19th June, and a load of other people are joining her in spirit by cycling round the village (about a mile circuit) with the aim of covering the same distance, 342 miles, in total. For what it's worth, Anne and I are going to be cycling over there and back, another 30-odd miles, but that doesn't count towards the total.
