Story
The impact of the effect of having the air ambulance on two occasions to the family of a very close friend has made me aware of how important the air ambulance is, to people in Norfolk or anywhere in the country.
Having undergone spinal surgery myself 10 years ago it is debatable whether surgery was necessary if I had been transported properly by air.
It is a well known fact that you never see a farmer on a bike in Norfolk, well now you will! I have taken the plunge to lose some weight ,get fit and also try to raise money for a very worthwhile charity and cause, as the slogan for the East Anglian Air Ambulance goes "we need you today you might need us tomorrow" and how right this has proven to be.
I have decided to tackle the fundraising in two ways, you can either sponsor me by weight loss or by miles cycled. Please please give generously and help me support a very worthy cause.
Did you know that it costs over £3 million pounds a year to keep Anglia One flying? What price can you put on saving precious minutes which could be the critical difference between life and death?
Please help me to help others, you never know it could be you who may need the East Anglian Air Ambulance when you least expect it.
Thank you.
