Decided to take on this challenge on September 20th 2013 as it is an opportunity to go climb Britain's highest peak in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Cancer is a terrible and pernicious disease which has claimed not only the lives of some members of my own family but continues to do so worldwide in record numbers and which affects many people who are close to us.

We have never attempted anything like this before but i am hoping that this endeavour can make a contribution to the work Cancer Research UK do in the future.

Basically, we're going to need all the support and inspiration i can get from anyone who either wishes to join me on this challenge or anyone who wishes to make a donation to this very worthy cause.
