Covid-19 cases continue to rise rapidly in India. Knowing the difficulties in accessing health care, particularly for underprivileged communities, Kids of North East Telugu group (NETG) families came up with this idea of a sporting challenge to support a charity in India called EKAM Foundation.
This event involves over 30 NETG kids aged 3yrs-16yrs challenging themselves in various fitness activities during their summer vacation for 1 month (15th July -15th August).
The funds raised will be donated to EKAM Foundation (ekamoneness.org) a non-profit organisation in India. It has been at the forefront of helping poor families, especially children in need of health care.
Lately, through their COVID campaign, it has been filling the gaps in the government system from providing PPE for healthcare professionals to supplying critical care equipment. EKAM Foundation currently has received SOS requests from 40 government hospitals who have been asked to create quarantine wards.
Here is the list of the big-hearted young children who are pushing their limits to raise funds for this noble cause.
