This will be my 5^th cycle to MIPIM accounting for two lost years when the world “stopped”. The physical endurance is always manageable and largely in one’s own control, but the biggest challenge has always been the weather.

Fondly known as “Our Dark and Stormy” I have only ever had one dry year; every other has been cold and wet most days. Cycling from the moment you wake, many days until the moment you sleep, it’s extremely tough to battle through. So why come back for more?

Two reasons equally important to me, firstly work Coram does is incredibly important, and they need our support. Secondly the people: the cyclists and support crew. Nothing builds friendships and experiences like supporting each other mentally and physically day in and day out as we battle through “Our Dark and Stormy”.
